About the project and these terms
Noselabo is an independently run hobby project operated by an individual. Noselabo is the project name, not a company or a separate legal entity. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean the individual operator identified in the contact details below. These terms describe your relationship with that individual when you use the project.
Using Noselabo
Noselabo helps people discover, understand, test, remember, and discuss fragrance. Browsing and account creation are currently free. Use the service only when you can form a valid agreement under the law that applies to you. If you are not able to do so independently, obtain the permission and involvement of your parent or legal guardian.
Your account
Provide accurate account details, protect your password and email account, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not use another person's identity or share access in a way that puts someone else's information at risk. Google sign-in is subject to Google's own terms as well as these terms. Linking an existing account requires an authenticated linking step.
Your contributions and privacy
You keep the rights you hold in your reviews, photographs, and other contributions. You give Noselabo permission to store, process, and display them as needed to provide the features you choose. A public Community post or review is intended to be visible to other people; a private record is handled as private account content. Do not post material you do not have permission to use, or personal information about someone else without an appropriate basis.
Community rules and reporting
Do not harass people, post unlawful material, impersonate others, distribute malicious files, manipulate ratings, or use the service for spam. Disclose relevant commercial relationships when discussing a product. We may restrict or remove content or access when needed to protect the service or address a violation. Use the report tools or contact support to raise a concern or ask for a decision to be reviewed.
Fragrance information and guides
Catalog details, community opinions, and editorial guides can contain errors. They are discovery and educational aids, not medical advice, authenticity certification, or guarantees about a product. Follow product labels and seek appropriate professional advice for health or allergy concerns. AI-assisted suggestions can be wrong and require your judgment. Report factual errors so they can be investigated.
Intellectual property
Noselabo branding, software, and original editorial material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Product names, bottle imagery, and third-party marks remain subject to their owners' rights. These terms do not give you ownership of those materials or remove any rights you have under applicable law.
Optional Ko-fi support
Supporting this personal project through Ko-fi is optional and is not required to browse or create an account. Ko-fi and the relevant payment provider handle the payment under their own terms. A tip does not purchase ownership, an investment interest, a guaranteed feature, priority support, or continued operation of the project. It does not create a marketing subscription. A Noselabo thank-you is separate from the payment receipt and is not a charitable donation or tax receipt. Contact the operator with your Ko-fi receipt for questions about a contribution; any applicable mandatory rights still apply.
Emails and communications
Account verification, password recovery, security notices, and payment-related thank-yous are service communications. Journal and marketing emails require a separate subscription and email confirmation. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails without signing in. Cookie consent and newsletter consent are separate choices.
Availability, support, and responsibility
Noselabo is maintained on a best-effort basis as a hobby project. Features may be experimental, change, or be interrupted. There is no guaranteed uptime, support response time, release schedule, or promise that the project will continue indefinitely. Subject to applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will meet a particular purpose or produce a particular fragrance result. Keep copies of records you cannot afford to lose, especially any data held only on a device.
If the operator plans to discontinue the service or make a change that materially affects access to saved account data, the operator will give reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to export available account data where reasonably possible. Urgent security or legal action may require an immediate restriction. These limitations do not remove obligations to protect personal information or handle data-rights requests. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a remedy where doing so would be unlawful. Your applicable mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain available.
Leaving, changes, and contact
You can review export and deletion controls in Your data rights. Account deletion is irreversible; review the confirmation before proceeding. We will identify the updated date when these terms change and provide notice of material changes as appropriate. Contact the operator below or support with questions, complaints, or requests for review. These terms do not require you to waive mandatory rights or use an exclusive court that applicable law does not permit.
If a company takes over the project or paid features are introduced in the future, the operator identity, relevant terms, and privacy information will be updated and explained before that change takes effect. These terms do not enroll you in a future paid service.
